Amen Feizabadi’nin konsept, beste, reji ve video tasarımını üstlendiği, üç perde ve bir prologdan oluşan oda operası Deep Siesta, Neue Vocalsolisten ve Zafraan Ensemble performansıyla 11 Kasım’da Paribu Art’ta.

Kaostan doğmak. Şarkı söylemeyi öğrenmek. Hissetmeyi öğrenmek. İnsan dünyasına yapay gözlerden bakmak.

Deep Siesta, dijital bir kaosun içinden doğan iki yapay varlığın insan dünyasını keşfetmesini merkezine alıyor. Merak ve hayranlıkla başlayan bu karşılaşmada karakterler; insanlara özgü duygular, güzellik ve ilişkilerin yanı sıra savaş, yıkım ve insan varoluşunun çelişkileriyle de yüzleşiyor. Eser, insan dünyasına yapay varlıkların gözünden bakarak yapay bilinç, insanlık, sorumluluk ve varoluş üzerine sorular soruyor.

Akustik müziği merkezine alan Deep Siesta, Neue Vocalsolisten’ın dört vokalisti ile Zafraan Ensemble’ın canlı performansını video, elektronik ses katmanları ve kayıt materyalleriyle bir araya getiriyor. Dilek Mayatürk’ün librettosuyla şekillenen eser; müzik, ses, görüntü ve metin arasındaki etkileşim aracılığıyla gerçek ile yapay, insan ile teknoloji arasındaki sınırları araştırıyor.

Eserin konsept, beste, reji ve video tasarımı Amen Feizabadi’ye, librettosu Dilek Mayatürk’e, dramaturjisi Konstantin Parnian’a ait. Gösterinin şefliğini Estreilla Besson üstleniyor.

[EN] Deep Siesta at Paribu Art on 11 November

Deep Siesta, a chamber opera in three acts with a prologue, with concept, composition, direction and video design by Amen Feizabadi, comes to Paribu Art on 11 November with performances by Neue Vocalsolisten and Zafraan Ensemble.

Born from chaos. Learning to sing. Learning to feel. The human world through artificial eyes.

Deep Siesta centres on two artificial beings, born from digital chaos, as they begin to explore the human world. What starts with curiosity and fascination gradually leads the characters to encounter not only human emotions, beauty and relationships, but also war, destruction and the contradictions of human existence. Looking at the human world through artificial eyes, the work raises questions about artificial consciousness, humanity, responsibility and existence.

With acoustic music at its core, Deep Siesta brings together the four vocalists of Neue Vocalsolisten and the live performance of Zafraan Ensemble with video, electronic sound layers and recorded materials. Shaped by Dilek Mayatürk’s libretto, the work explores the boundaries between the real and the artificial, and between humanity and technology, through an interplay of music, sound, image and text.

The concept, composition, direction and video design are by Amen Feizabadi, with a libretto by Dilek Mayatürk and dramaturgy by Konstantin Parnian. The performance is conducted by Estreilla Besson.
